AWGIC Statement on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

As the guardian and rights holders of the biennial premier circumpolar sport and cultural event for northern youth, the Arctic Winter Games International Committee (AWGIC) currently offers male and female sport competition for Arctic Winter Games participants. The AWGIC board, membership and stakeholders continue to collaborate and monitor the inclusion and diversity of gender identity within the global community of sport. While remaining true to its values of respect and participant-centred, the AWGIC will continue to act with integrity and to be accountable for its decisions.
